Info: This is the BIG one you don't want to miss! Dedicated to AMMO club member Mario Knapp who we lost in 2013, this annual car show is an event to honor our lost friend and carry on his passion for cars. 100% of proceeds from the fundraiser benefit a local 501c3 charity and a contribution is made to the 529 College Savings Accounts that were setup for Mario's three boys.
Our dear friend Mario Knapp passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at the young age of only 27. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a corrections officer with the rank of Sergeant. Mario was a wonderful son, grandson, brother, nephew and devoted friend to many. Most of all, a loving husband and father, his three young boys meant the world to him. Mario had a great passion for cars and he loved to spend his spare time working on his car, as well as helping other fellow car club members with their cars. He also enjoyed attending car cruises and car shows at every chance that he could. Simply put, Mario was the definition of a car enthusiast.
Goodie bags, dash plaques, t-shirts, door prizes, raffles, 50/50, live auction, music, food from Quaker Steak & Lube, Kidz Zone with free face painting and much more! Car Show registration is $15, but bring your wallet because there is always a ton of awesome items up for grabs in our raffle and auction thanks to all of our generous donors and sponsors. And we always have an incredible trophy collection like you've never seen before! Come on out for a fun-filled family-friendly day and enjoy all of the festivities while we raise money for a great cause in honor of a great man.
Club Plan: The turnout from fellow AMMO club members as well as hundreds of cars from around the region always make this an event you don't want to miss. Since this event started as a smaller show, largely attended by fellow AMMO members who came together to honor Mario, it has grown into an enormous event that we look forward to every year. It just goes to show what this AMMO family is all about - we turnout big time for this one. We will be looking for volunteers from AMMO to help with the festivities!
